Sponsored by the non-profit, A SOULFUL HEART MEMORIALIZING GEORGE FLOYD, JR., INC., this concert at Town Hall honored the legendary Ms. Melba Moore, who also performed. Additional honorees included Broadway powerhouse Irene Gandy; jazz vocalist Rome Neal; multi-platinum album hip-hop artists AB Money and JR [RIF]; Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the New York Amsterdam News, Elinor Ruth Tatum; Bishop James Pullins, Jr. (Church of God In Christ); and Rev. Clinton Miller (Brown Memorial Baptist Church, Brooklyn). 

The stellar performer line-up included gospel artists Karen Clark-Sheard, Pastor Kim Burrell, and Jessica Reedy; vocalist Tenishia Toussaint; jazz virtuoso Bobby Sanabria and his band; hip-hop artists AB Money and JR [Rapping Is Fundamental]; funk/rock/hip-hop/soul band Juggernaut War Party; neo-soul singer Marc Hughes Music; folk artists Judy Gorman, and Mike & Aleksi Glick; author/poet Nan O’Brien; and students from the Paul Robeson Freedom School and The Repertory Company High School for Theatre Arts. 

Special guest appearances were made by Selwyn Jones, George Floyd’s Uncle and patriarch of the George Floyd Family; Floyd Family members; and families of violence victims Adaisha Miller and Jamal Sutherland.
