TONYA HOPKINS DEBUTS “THE KWANZAA MENU” ON THE FOOD NETWORK

 

Los Angeles, CA – Tonya Hopkins, also known as The Food Griot, made history on The Food Network with her short series “The Kwanzaa Menu.”

TKM consists of seven episodes during which Tonya and a special guest prepare – and share -- edibles influenced by African and Caribbean cultures for consumption during Kwanzaa.  Each menu item is tied to one of the seven principles of the African-American holiday.  Prior to this series, The Food Network has never before focused on “Kwanzaa cuisine.”  All of The Kwanzaa Menu episodes can be viewed on thefoodnetwork.com by first going to www.thefoodgriot.com.
